The 7th Athens International Tourism Expo 2020 coming in Virtual version!
November 27 – December 4, 2020
As we all know, due to the known problems with the outbreak of the epidemic, many events and exhibitions were postponed.
The predictions that the measures for covid-19 will be valid until the end of 2020, as well as the strong desire of the market to make the exhibition, led us to the decision not to cancel it and to organize it in Virtual format.
The 7th Athens International Tourism Expo 2020 will take place in Virtual format from November 27 to December 4, 2020 and hours 12.00 – 14.00 and 17.00 – 19.00 (Greek time zone). The schedule will be adjusted accordingly for countries that have a large time difference with Greece (such as USA , Canada, etc.).
The upward trend that the Athens International Tourism Expo has made so far, will continue in its virtual version aiming at the incoming tourism of 2021.
“DIGITAL STANDS ” FOR EXHIBITORS
The traditional Exhibitors’ stands will give way to the “Digital Stands” and the B2B Meetings of Exhibitors, Buyers and Visitors will be held via Video Conference.
Exhibitors through their “Digital Stands” will have the opportunity to be fully promoted in the international tourism market and to hold B2B meetings with Buyers and business visitors, from Greece and abroad, through Teleconference.
The dynamics of the Exhibition and the great success of the B2B meetings will remain high and the Buyers will cover all the needs of the exhibitors.
More than 100 top foreign offices are already participating in the Exhibition as Buyers, while the applications for participation are constantly increasing.
GREAT INNOVATION OF THE ORGANIZATION TO ATTRACT VISITORS FROM ABROAD
Virtual AIT Expo 2020 is coming with a big innovation and is already attracting online visitors from abroad.
Exhibition’s Organizers has sent informative News letters, with recipients more than 40,000 Tour Operators, Travel Agencies and companies MICE from abroad to participate in the Exhibition, as virtual visitors.
Business visitors, from Greece and abroad, will register in the Online program and they will also be able, with their own code, to conduct through teleconference system B2B Meetings with Exhibitors.
For the convenience of visitors, the B2B program through Teleconference will remain open from November 27 to December 4 from 12.00 – 14.00 and 17.00 – 19.00 (Greek time).
